Sadly Katie is away on assignment tonight so I have nothing to report. As a consolation you can look at this old fashion pic of Katie from way way back when...back before the botox. One might think that the big "Y" on her chest refers to Yale, but in fact it belongs to her alma mater, the University of Virginia. And a special "shout out" to my Yale friends, including my "Bananas"! Thanks for a great evening :)

Tonight's outfit was a big improvement at least in that it did no damage. It's hard to go wrong with simple black outfits, but now she needs to tweak it up a bit and make a small fashion statement instead of a non-statement. But compared to the 1/10 disaster....i'm not sure which was worse, her outfit or Bush's speech. And more conditioner for the hair - its still a bit flat, but the cut is ok.

OK, that black and white fluffernutter outfit she wore managed to be both hideous and inappropriate. Who lets who go on like that? Where is the fashion consultant? Seriously ugly and you couldn't take your eyes off it. I could barely listen to her. She wearing a porcupine outfit - no wonder she's number 3 in the ratings!!!

Her first outfit that I'm starting with was on the 01-09-07 broadcast. This intensely ugly (and expensive) matronly tweed features non-matching lapels and makes her look like she's working for the BBC - 10 years ago.
